Tourenskifahren in den Karpaten

Greetings!

Most of the time we depend by the weather condition, and even we had big powder snow on beginning of March, the visibility was not the best! We skied on Ialomita valley on good snow but not good visibility, then we moved on west part of Bucegi. The last day was in Poiana Brasov, with some forest skiing. Greetings! Between February 27 and March 5th I was skiing with a group of 6 persons from Lecco, Italy! As usual we were luck with the weather, and we can do the program what we agree, mostly because of the very good quality of the snow. Even if it was just the begin of March the snow was almost firn, that type of spring snow.

Ski touring in Bucegi mountains

Greetings to all!

On the weekend of 20-21 February 2010, I was on a short ski tour in Bucegi mountains, with another 5 persons, from France and Switzerland, all of them working in Bucharest.  We were really lucky with the weather, as usual 🙂 Saturday even if it was blue sky, the cable cars from Sinaia was not working because of the strong wind at 2000 meters high, so finally we arrived at Cota 1400, and from there we start to climb on skis and skins. Freeride Bucegi si Fagaras

Schi 3 – schi de tura si freeride  – 8 zile de ski de tura si freeride in Muntii Bucegi si Fagaras, cu schi pe Vaile Gaura, Ialomitei, Cerbului, Doamnei, Balii, Sambetei. Tura se adreseaza schiorilor avansati, care poseda cunostinte avansate de schi in zapada mare.

Ziua 1: Intalnire dumineata la ora 7.30 in Busteni. Urcat cu telecabina la Cabana Babele, traversat pe schiuri la vf. Omu. Durata 2-3 ore. Cazare la Cabana Vf. Omu.

Ziua 2: Schi pe Valea Gaura si Valea Ialomitei. Cazare la Cabana Vf. Omu.

Ziua 3: Schi pe Valea Cerbu… (>>>)

Freeride in Postavaru si Fagaras

Schi 2 – schi de tura si freeride – 8 zile de schi de tura si freeride in Postavaru si Muntii Fagaras, in zona Balea si Valea Sambetei. Tura se adreseaza schiorilor avansati, care poseda cunostinte avansate de schi in zapada mare.

Ziua 1: Intalnire dumineata la ora 7.30 in Brasov. Transfer in Poiana Brasov. Urcat pana pe varful Postavaru, schiat pana in Timisul de Jos. Durata 4-5 ore. Transfer in Muntii Fagaras, Cabana Balea Lac. Durata transfer 2 – 3 ore.

Ziua 2: Schiat pe Valea Balii, si in caldarea Balii. Cazare Caba… (>>>)
