Schi de tura in Fagaras si Bucegi, Romania

Seit Jahren stand es im Raum, dass wir mal in den Karpaten Skitouren gehen. 2017 war der Entschluss endlich gefasst und uns war klar: das machen wir mangels Orts- und Schneelagenkenntnis mit einem lokalen Guide. Nach kurzer Recherche und Kontaktaufnahme war die Wahl für Iulian leicht getroffen.

​We are two keen, but not super-fit walkers, who are just hitting their 60s. We spent 8 days in Romania under the guidance of Iulian and his team. Splitboardurile Amplid au revenit in muntii Romaniei

Bereits zum zweiten mal ging es in die Karparten zum Splitboarden. Letztes Jahr waren wir schon begeistert von der Natur den Touren und dem tollen Essen. Waren wir bis jetzt „nur“ im Bucegi Gebirge unterwegs, so sollten es diesmal auch ein paar Tage im Fagaras sein. Die Bedingungen waren im Durchschnitt ziemlich gut und so hatten wir einige tolle Touren mit teilweise großartigen Abfahrten.

Explorand Romania, Delta Dunarii albastre, Dobrogea si Maramuresul istoric

We returned for our second consecutive summer in Romania visiting the Danube Delta and also the Maramures region in the north. It was the perfect combination of bird-watching and hiking. Iulian’s local knowledge is extensive and his enthusiasm for local food and culture is contagious. We are a group of four Swedes who love exploring different countries and especially the mountains and the country side on bike, by foot and on skies. This year we decided to travel to Romania to test the Carpathians on mountain bikes. Multumesc Iulian pentru excursia de neuitat, din Delta Dunarii din Mai – Iunie 2017! A fost o excursie inedita, impletind o organizare de exceptie cu descoperirea locurile minunate ale Deltei Dunarii si cu o atmosfere placuta, relaxanta de vacanta de vis ! Iulian s-a dovedit intradevar un ghid experimentat si foarte documentat, depasind cu mult asteptarile mele. I recently returned to the USA, from a wonderful and extremely well organized and documented trip to Danube Delta, planned and guided by Iulian! Every single detail of the trip was minute planned and managed. From the accommodation, transportation everywhere, meals and entertainment, everything was beyond expectations!
