Dear Julian, just a short note & thanks and appreciation for all the hard work that you put in, in order to make our trip to Romania such a pleasant and memorable one!

As it turned out from our side I feel that the group was a little too large and not equally matched, but the request to participate in the trip was great add how do you tell someone „No sorry, you cannot come because you are not fit enough”? and so I burned up!

Having walked and climbed in India, Africa, Slovakia, Czech Republik, Morocco and all over the UK, Crumblies Walking Club (UK) turned their attentions to Romania in early October 2010. We have had a terrific holiday and walking adventure in the Bucegi Mountains and the hills of Bran and Prahova, all thanks to Iulian Cozma and the team at Iulian Cozma outdoor adventures! As many others have said, Iulian provides an excellent program, and we had a great hike. We can not really say enough. One added note: many in the USA are not used to paying for a guide. For those I would add that Iulian is very good at evaluating hikers and then tailoring the hike to their ability. If we had hiked on our own, we would have been too conservative in estimating the distance that we could cover, and not had as great a time.

Dear Iulian, we wouldn’t returned to Romania if we didn’t already know we would have an excellent guide waiting for us! Wir flogen mit Austrian Airlines von Frankfurt über Wien nach Hermanstadt (Sibiu) und zurück. Die Wanderung begann von der Poiana Neamtului und ging über die Barcaciu-Hütte, Negoi-Hütte, Balea-Lac-Hotel, Podragu-Hütte und endete in Victoria-Stadt. Eines der Höhepunkte war die Besteigung des Moldoveanu-Gipfels (2545 m) des höchsten Berges der rumänischen Karpaten. Außer Bergwandern standen jedoch auch Sehenswürdigkeiten in „Siebenbürgen“ im Programm. Wir besuchten Hermanstadt (Sibiu), Kronstadt (Brasov), Schäßb… (>>>)

Iulian Cozma makes you feel like a guest in his country instead of a tourist. At all times I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay. The organistation was tightly run and left nothing to be desired. The guide had firm control over our trek but with enough flexibility to allow me a significant say in our activities If I so chose.

Iulian Cozma geeft je het gevoel een gast te zijn in plaats van een toerist in zijn land. Het verblijf was aangenaam en comfortabel. De organistatie is strak geregeld en gaf volledige genoegdoening. De gids had de trek goed in de hand en liet ruimte voor persoonlijke inbreng.
