Ski de randonnée dans les montagnes de Bucegi, Mars 2017

4 jours de ski de randonnée en mars 2017 avec Iulian Cozma ont été une expérience merveilleuse. Iulian est un vrai pro que ce soit pour la logistique (transports, hôtels, refuges en montagne) mais aussi dans son  métier de guide de montagne : Iulian connait ses montagnes et il connait la neige. C’est aussi un joyeux compagnon qui étonne par la connaissance de son pays et l’affection qu’il lui porte. A refaire absolument avec Iulian !

Exploring Transylvanian mountains, Bucegi and Piatra Craiului

Was the first snow from this year, but we were not scared about it. We were hiking in Bucegi mountains and Piatra Craiului national park, on snow, sun and beautiful weather. They came from Luxembourg, being hiking on other different places before this trip. And, as almost always, Mike, Dan and their friends were surprised by our mountains, and not by our food. Welcome to nature, walking in Romania

Betty and Joël came for a long weekend hike and a short visit of Bucharest city. The right places for this type of tour are Bucegi natural park and the high hills of Bran county. We started our tour with a warm up hike on the Western part of Bucegi mountains, then crossed over to Moeciu de Sus, ending in the picturesque mountain village of Simon. It was the best time of the year to hike, with the right weather conditions and this was something which motivated us to keep on hiking and enjoying the beautiful nature!

Walking in Transylvania, fairy tale county

Hiking with Avril and Nina, what a wonderful tour! I met Avril 8 years ago, on a strong winter, when we walked up to Curmatura hut in Piatra Craiului national park. This year, together with Nina, she came to see how our mountains look in the summer time! As you can clearly see in the photos, they look very well! We hiked in the Bucegi mountains, Bran county and it’s high hills. I would highly recommend this company. Iulian provided for us a personalised itinerary of hiking through the Transylvanian mountains and villages. The scenery was picturesque and the tour was very well organised and run. Thanks again Iulian!

Trail running in Romania, enjoy mountains!

How can i put it on paper when I don’t even find the words for it? It was a tour that I was little worrying about at the beginning but when it started it was everything else but worries. Beautiful trails, people with a lot of joy in hearts and open for everything were a perfect match to have a great experience. This way we succeed really to make the best of our 4 days Trail Running tour. Looking back at these days I still feel the joy and happiness to have run in such a special company, on our home trails.

Weatherproof, mountain biking in Romania

Markus – Ich habe ihn vor zwei Jahren getroffen bei einer unserer schönsten Touren mit allen nur möglichen Wetterbedingungen: von Schnee bis Nebel und glühender Hitze.

Begeistert, trotz des vielen Schnees und Regens,wollte er mit ein paar Freunden wiederkommen. Jetzt war es so weit und auf dem Flughafen gab es das Wiedersehen. Pech – sein Gepäck wurde in Deutschland vergessen. Aber wir haben uns vorgenommen, alles mit Spass und Freude zu überwinden. 😉

Ski touring trip in Carpathian mountains, Romania

Was a group of friends and colleagues from university,  who usually enjoy skiing in The Alps, but they decide to see how are the Carpathian mountains in winter time. So, last February we enjoy a ski trip in Bucegi and Fagaras mountains, on perfect sunny days and powder snow! As always, we were almost the only skiers in both areas, and this was one of the nicest part! Bucegi mountains were great, our hosts Doina and Mircea, as always, very charming and welcoming people!
