Australian Wombats across the Romanian Carpathians

There are 20 years since I organise outdoor journeys in Romanian mountains and I can remember most of my guests. And for sure I’ll remember the Australian wombats, Geoff, Max and Colin, and of course I Kate. The original tour starts in Brasov and end almost in Sibiu, over 12 days of hiking in seven mountain ranges in South Carpathian mountain in Romania, kind of Haute route in Romania. But because of a very wet period in July, we had to reorganize our tour, but even despite the bad and wet weather, we succeed to traverse Piatra Mare mountain r… (>>>)

Hiking trip in Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains

Had the most amazing 4 days of trekking with Horia. He was an incredible guide and an all-around great guy. Our route took us through some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen and I can’t wait to go back to Romania and do it again. I recommend Iulian’s business to everyone I know!

Torben and Jesper chose the Bran County in Romania for their hiking trip in April 2015, hoping for some nice spring weather and fresh-green landscape. It was spring indeed, but the weather was rather challenging, keeping us at lower altitudes to avoid the unexpected snow up on … (>>>)

Walking trip in Romania

Greetings,

in middle of April was a really winter in South East part of Transylvania, but after 10 days all the snow, like 1 meter, was gone and the terrain was just dry as nothing was there with one week before. Together with a Danish person, I did a 5 days walking tour on the high hills between Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains. Weather was good, not completely blue sky, but was ok. Below you may see some photos from our tour.

Kind regards, Iulian Cozma… (>>>)
