Iulian has the \u201cBig 4\u2033 characteristics of a great guide \u2013 safety first, \u2013 his client\u2019s enjoyment 24\/7, \u2013 an intimate knowledge of the area \u2013 and flexibility. From the moment we first made contact almost 2 years ago via email, Iulian has provided us with all the information we needed in a timely manner. As soon as we met, he quickly sized up the physical abilities of our group, our expectations and integrated that into the area we were headed to and put together five great days of hiking and cultural experience. Whenever we needed anything, Iulian was there to make sure that it happened. Whether it was eating lunch on a peak with undescribable views, inside a shepard\u2019s house tasting fresh cheese, or sipping Iulian\u2019s father\u2019s home-made wine, Iulian brought an intimate experience of the Romanian mountains and countryside that we wouldn\u2019t have experienced without him.
