We planned to spend two weeks in Romania as our summer holidays 2008: 1 week trekking and 1 week sightseeing in Transylvania but we didn\u2019t want to go with one of these big tour operators, which have one guide and more than 10 guests. So we started searching on the internet for a more independent travel guide. We were really very lucky that we found Iulian\u2019s homepage. Reading through all his offers published on his webpage, we realized that the hiking trips were either too short or too long for us. So that we asked him whether or not he could arrange a special tour just for us: A hiking trip for just 7 days in the Romanian mountains and the following week a round trip with a rental car. After we mentioned some places we would like to see and some areas where we would like to go hiking, he posted to us his first proposal for our summer holiday 2008 in Romania. Iulian prepared our whole trip in Romania, the hiking week in the Bucegi & Fagaras mountains as well as the sightseeing week in Transsylvania including all the arrangements as pick up service from the airport in Sibiu and the transport to Brasov, all accommodations and our rental car. All his arrangements worked out very well and were really organized in a perfect way. During our hiking week we climbed the three highest peaks of Romania (Vistea Mare, Negoiu & Moldoveanu). Our car tour was planned as a round-trip through the former German part of Transsylvania (a circle from Brasov \u2013 Viscri \u2013 Sighisoara (2 nights) \u2013 Sibiu (only 1 night but it is worth it to spent 2 nights) \u2013 Sambata de Sus \u2013 Brasov). Thanks to Iulian competence and friendliness we spent two very beautiful and unforgettable weeks in Romania. He really does know the region very well. As a person he is very open minded (we had very interesting conversations about politics & economy in Romania) and he was always absolute flexible regarding our needs (i.e. on one occasion he was able to organise us a Burduf cheese [Romanian speciality] directly from the shepherd who produced it).We really can recommend Iulian as THE ULTIMATE TRAVEL AGENCY for Romania.
