We, four ladies from Bayern/Germany, have spent unforgettable holidays in Transylvania thanks to our mountain guide Iulian Cozma. Our tour started with a warm-up tour over the hills from Moeciu de Sus and Simon followed by moderated tours over the Bucegi Mountain and Piatra Craiului National Park. Before we started climbing the Fagaras Mountains from the town Victoria. We spent two nights at the Podragu chalet and from there we climbed on the top of Moldoveanu and Vistea peaks.
From the beginning, with the first email contact with Iulian until our departure was everything perfectly organized. Iulian is a reliable, professional, perfect, guide. He has his homeland in his heart and he infected us with this love for the untouched landscapes. Iulian took us to many wonderful places and to many places from where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view. Behind each hill was another enthralling view. Very impressive!
We had a lot of fun and we could forget our daily routine immediately. We enjoyed every step of the walking tour with Iulian. He took care of us all the time, he was helpful, very kind, courteous and because of the long standing experience in the mountains of our guide, we felt all the time safe. It seems as if he would know every stone, each sheep and all local people. Because of his good networking he is all time flexible and able to react in all possible situations in order to reorganize the trip.
Before our departure, we were at Iulians family for dinner. They welcomed us so warm and sincere, that we had the feeling as if we were back home or with our friends. They feasted us with delicious local dishes and we could get an small insight into the Romanian life. We want to say a big thank you at this point to Iulians parents and to his grandmother, for these extraordinary hours and for the hospitality in their house.
The ones that are not going here for a vacation are really losing something! We can recommend Iulian! He is the best! We liked very much the country and the people we found! We are very impressed and we will always remember the week with Iulian gladly!
